@JohnFromGWN Thanks for the link. I did download that tool a few days ago, but my rig doesn't have Accel on it and I can't see purchasing it for a $100 a year just to modify the files. I did download the trial version of Accel, but you only can use it for a few weeks before Microsoft wants to bill you. Having never used it before, the learning curve and time limit are a bit tight.

I'm not opposed to manually editing the files, that's what I did before, I've just forgotten what I need to do to get the traffic how I want it. All the tutorials I've found are geared to adding new dlc vehicles to traffic rather than editing the vanilla ones to respond differently.

I got away from GTA several years ago and now that I'm back I've forgotten a lot of things I used to know.

I've looked at several of the help guides but I'm not seeing what I need.

With the popcycle and popgroup I'm trying to add trailered semis to all paved areas of the map except residential areas, especially the Sandy Shores area. I did this before when I was playing and had semis rolling down all the major roads. The road one up from Trevor's trailer seems like a bypass between two freeways, and in my opinion should have a lot of semi traffic even though it's a two lane, but currently has none.

I'm also trying to remove the Blazers quads and Tractors from all paved roads. I've lost count of the number of times I've been tagged by or slammed into a Blazer quad or Tractor on paved roads.

@helios7 The only way I've been able to do it is to open multiple OpenIV's or remove the .ydd, .ytd etc. file to desktop, designate OpenIV as the program to read the file and then just click on the file and it will open a new a window of OpenIV so you can see what it contains. The program Texture Toolkit will also read them in this fashion. --- It's the only way I've found to preview before I install something.

I concur that it does work, but it's a very basic program. Extract everything in the zip file and place it in a folder of your choosing, create a shortcut of the main program for your desktop, then you can open it. You must take the item you want to alter out of the OpenIV and place it elsewhere, IE: Desktop or new folder, then you can modify the item, save and place it back into OpenIV.

Their latest useless suggestion is to yet again download 90GB of of crap, (I've done this 3 times already, with Rockstars servers that should take about a week,) that I don't want just so I can play the vanilla game.

Has anyone come up with a way to completely disable Rockstars Social Club?
I purchased the pc disk version of this game back in early 2015 and after about 3 months of playing it, it stopped working correctly because of Rockstars constant need to update the game with their crappy servers. I've only managed to play the game a half a dozen times since then.

The heat death of the universe is more likely than me EVER playing this game online, yet any time I try to start the game is says it need to connect to Rockstars worthless Social Club to download and update some useless garbage that I neither want nor need to play the original game. Their ticket system is a joke, if you don't respond to their reply within 48 hours they consider the issue resolved, even though it might take up to a week for them to respond to you.

Honestly the only thing worse than Rockstars servers is Steams servers which have managed to be hacked so many times I've lost count, and I had to hire a lawyer to get my information removed from their system.

I stopped playing this game back in 2016, but when I was playing it there was either a mod or a tutorial to have more semi's with trailers on the roads. Google is NOT my friend. I've started playing the game again, but I've been unable to find the correct naming to find it.

My 2TB hard drive and one of my 6TB external hard drives went up in smoke within a week of each other making me lose 8 years of downloaded stuff. I'm rebuilding my downloads cache to what I had before the fireworks, but am having issues trying to find some of the older mods/tutorials. Any help would be appreciated.

Ad-block doesn't remove all ads, I want 100% ad removal and am willing to pay for that privilege.

I haven't been active here for several years. Some things have changed, such as the ad pop-ups.

Is it possible to pay this site so the ads are removed? Similar to Nexus, free you get ads, pay and you're ad free.

Having 1/6th of the screen covered with ads trying to sell me stuff that I will NEVER buy from them is annoying.
