Cannot delete mod?
Every time I try to delete one particular mod of mine, I type my reason into the box and click submit, the page auto-refreshes and nothing happens, the mod remains active. I've deleted a load of old mods of mine and after I type my reason and click submit, the page auto-refreshes and says the mod is now hidden/private awaiting deletion. This only occurs on one of my mods.
Transfer ownership of a mod?
I have a bunch of player mods I don't update anymore (since I mainly work on vehicles) cluttering up my profile, another user wants them and plans on updating them. Is there a way to transfer ownership of a mod to them? So people following/bookmarked will still be notified of any updates? Or is it just a case of me deleting the mod and them uploading it again under their profile?
Weird jagged flashes when crashing car/tyre smoke etc.
Fresh install of the game and when I crash my car/rev engine I get these weird jagged flashes across the screen?
No mods installed and graphic card drivers are up to date. Anyone had this and have a fix?
Editing .MESH files?
Anyone know what program I need to open and edit a .mesh file?
Trying to change the colors of the map, I can open the .mesh file in notepad and change colors that way, but it's a really slow process. Are there any programs that can open the .mesh file, let me change the polygon colors, then save it out again?
Tips for getting good chrome + black trim in Zmodeler?
So I'm currently generating new UV mapping from 'vehicle_generic_detail2' everytime I want chrome or black trim. Moving my selection around the canvas and hoping it turns out right in-game. I end up having to go back and forth between game and zmodeler 100 times to test to see if the material looks right. Sometimes the shades of black trim don't match up, chrome looks glitchy etc.
Anyone have a better way of doing this? Maybe a Chrome material and black trim material? Any tips or advice would be useful because I find this to be the biggest pain when modding...
Tips on extra interior lights?
Anyone have any tips on adding some extra interior lights to a vehicle?
Trying to add some more interior lights to the bus/coach etc.
Closest I've come involved adding extralights set as foglights then putting them inside the bus. Only problem is they only turn on when foglights are activated (I want them on all the time). They look way to bright etc.
The Luxor and Swift have extra interior lights, anyone figured out how they work?
Any ideas appreciated!
Best way to adjust underside of car after removing skirts?
I've been working on a vehicle and I've removed the skirts from around the car that I didn't want, but what's the best way to adjust the underside of the car to fit the new body?
Here is the front bumper, can see where the skirt was and the underside matched up
Again with the side skirts
I figured I would just have to scale and move each part to fit, but thought there may be an easier way. Any help appreciated!
Zmodeler3 Black Screen bug? No Renders?
Started having this bug with Zmodeler3 where in the space areas where I would normally see the vehicle renders I'm working on, I just get black space.
Deleted my Zmodeler3 folder and done a fresh install, but this did not work.
No idea what triggered it, been using it without issue for months
Any help or suggestions appreciated
Interior Color + Glass Tint problems
I'm working on the Cognoscenti, a vehicle which allows custom seat colors.
I've imported and edited the _hi into zmodeler. The materials which should be re-colorable in-game have the suffix interior2 or detail2. But when I go in-game and try to change the colors, nothing happens.
Also, when I tint the windows, the front headlights also tint. How do I fix that? And when I set the windows to the darkest tint (pure black), it doesn't seem to be as black as other vehicles with the same tint.
Any help with these would be appreciated!
[VEHICLE][WIP] Updated Enus Cognoscenti Cabrio
Trying to make the Cognoscenti Cabrio a bit less ugly. Not easy since the back is weirdly proportioned compared to the front, and messing around too much with it would effect the roof animations. Based off the Bentley Continental.

@v8charger222 Thanks! Trying to get it as close as possible to the real thing but not so much that it's not lore friendly anymore.
I've done tweaks to the Panto and Seminole, but they were just tests really, a bit buggy. Hopefully will redo those. The Washington is my first real attempt at editing a car.
Also working on an updated Granger more closely resembling a Chevrolet Suburban. Tweaks to the Cavalcades and Landstalker. There are so many cars I want to change! haha
Merge brake light and tail light
I'm editing the rear lights of the Washington, and I'm trying to do is merge the tail light and the brake light into one large tail light. When you brake, the tail light will just become brighter.
By default the lights are designed like this
I want them to be like this
And the whole light becomes brighter when breaking (no dedicated brake light)
So far I've
- Attached the brake light and tail light together for each side (L + R)
- Deleted the brakelights from the hierarchy
- Renamed and re-IDd both tail lights (ID 3+4)
- Recentered the corona for each new tail light
However the tail light continues to look like this
Still using the lower area as the tail light as by default, but the corona is in now in the correct place
When I brake, the top area comes on
This is how I want the tail lights to look like, not just the brake lights. When I brake, I want the whole light to become brighter
