@MissySnowie I didn't read the whole topic but by watching the video I clearly see the failure is in the process you do to install an OIV file, not the OIV itself. You shouldn't install an OIV file with another OpenIV task open in the background. That's going to cause obvious rewriting issues because the game files are being used by the tool and at the same time you're trying to replace them with a different OpenIV task. 2 OpenIV tasks trying to do different things with the same files = problem.

@BetterBrock Go to https://www.gta5-mods.com/likes. There you can go to each file page you liked and undo the like.

RE: QuantV Malware
@JohnFromGWN FYI Quant lives in the same country as I do, Spain
. Malware is of course something pursued but I'm not sure if any action will be taken against Quant. We know his real name (since long ago) because it appears in both the spanish commercial register ("Registro Mercantil") and the State official newsletter ("Boletín Oficial del Estado" aka "BOE").

RE: Cant see date comments were made
@envyy in Forums or the main site? In Forums the date is available right after your username. On the main site it appears in the bottom-right side of the comment box.

RE: Finally - Quality
There are likes and there are ratings. Should we consider them to be the same?
A rating can include (indirectly) a like from the user that post it and we don't even know it unless the user says "like" or "I like it" or something like that in the comment that contains the rating. Nevertheless, a like can't include a rating because you can't provide an accurate evaluation with it. So no, are not the same but here's my point when I used the "like" word in my previous comment:
If an user rates a mod 4.5/5
it can be because:
- Likes/dislikes it but still considers the mod deserves such rating because is well made in some way or another.
- Likes/dislikes it but also didn't find any bugs/issues/problems on the mod as to provide a lower rating.
- Likes/dislikes it and found one or more bugs/issues/problems but are not relevant enough for the user as to provide a lower rating.
All of them are valid as far as the comment does not contain any text (rude/disrespectful words/text towards other users, useless discussion that's becoming an unnecessary drama, etc) that could lead us to enforce the comments section rules against it.
If an user rates a mod 4
or less can be because:
- Likes/dislikes it but found improvable features or minor bugs that need fixes.
- Likes/dislikes it but found very improvable features or important bugs that need fixes.
- Likes/dislikes it but found it lacks some basic/necessary features or there are serious bugs that need fixes.
- Likes/dislikes it but the mod is literally broken/outdated and needs to get fixed/updated.
- Just dislikes the mod, the user who posts it (revenges, etc.), the preview images/description/tags used or the user is trying to trigger the mod creator for whatever random reason. -> (the rating is not meant for that usage so gets removed)
All of them (except the last one for obvious reasons) are valid as far as the rating is accompanied with constructive criticism and the comment does not contain any text (rude/disrespectful words/text towards other users, useless discussion that's becoming an unnecessary drama, etc) that could lead us to enforce the comments section rules against it.
I can't say it louder/clearer. If someone does not want to understand how ratings work (as in any other site, like Amazon, Facebook, etc) and why do we act accordingly to the site rules and common sense is not the moderators problem.
