The addon cars you see in traffic most surely belong to a mod that edited your popgroups.ymt. Or have you done it yourself at some point?

Revert your popgroups.ymt to vanilla and you should have normal traffic.

It was updated very recently. I use it, added a few of the radios linked there, flawless so far.

Logs won't lie. If the logs are not even present, as is the case now, he must solve this first. Clearly not a problem with the trainer as he is still miles from it. He is missing the log from dinput8.dll, which is in step 2 on the big red image you posted on your first answer.

@killerjobman you probably have the game installed in 2 places. The folder where you've placed SHV and the trainer are probably from the old installation, not at use now, thus why no logs in there, your new install location might be under C:\ProgramFiles\Epic Games\GTAV if you followed standard path.

Assuming "nothing works" means game launches ok but at vanilla state.

@killerjobman I see no logs there, I usually like to start from them

dinput8.dll should create asiloader.log, that's the bare minimum you need, if it's not working nothing will

@AnDrewPwnz try this on your timecyles:

But this one I'm guessing, not sure it'll work. There many entries like "water_reflection_lod_*" in timecycles, but I believe those are related to objects being reflected on water puddles.

@MissySnowie yeah all of this. there are plenty of lists out there of things that existed in previous games that didn't made to V. San Andreas did got the most interactive city.

I expected a bit more from the ocean in V. Everyone was excited that the water looked nice, there was dolphins and whales and stuff, but then there wasn't anything after that. We got subs but they collapse too soon under pressure, little boat variety and activity. If vampires why not mermaids? Or alien activity that ends up releasing the Kraken
