If you could, convert Icemega5 MMD models, they have less stricter rules, and allow conversions on their respective readmes.
Looking forward to this, GTA V lacks weeaboo shit.

Well, i also used to make mods on ZModeler, because on the latino-american modding community, that was the standard back then. Of course, that brought various problems, like over-sized cars, f*cked up polygons, z-fighting. And they got a weird taste for excessive 3D with colors, go and look to some CH4P4X/ChristopherIgor cars, they have most parts made on 3d but with matte colors as textures.
I still use it for converting. Just started learning Blender now, what toke me 2 hours on Zmod now takes me 30 mins. -

Ehhmm.... ZMODELER IS FOR CONVERTING, ONLY DUMB FUCKS USE IT FOR ACTUAL CAR MODELLING.
Although there's many great models made on ZMod, those have various problems, like excess of polygons, or weird normals, doing serious work with it is like cutting an onion with one hand, when there's better alternatives like Blender ( open-source 3D rendering/modelling program ), that has a better interface, more tutorials , and more functions to have better-looking models, or paid ones like 3DSMax, Maya or Cinema4d.
Try learning 3D basics first, don't expect to make a Lambo on three days. Hell, i take 2-3 hours to model a fairly-good seat and texturize it, 4 or 5 if i use real-life photos for texturing.
Most of the models that you see converted are from PROFESSIONAL 3D sites ( paid, usually they cost 70-100 dollars ) or Forza/Asseto Corsa/NFS/The Crew/Any next-gen racing sim/game. -

You seem to now most things about materials, so here's one question?
Why Zmodeler has the "Default Material" bug when i try to export a car ?
I just merged and adapted some parts, and EVERY GODDAMN THING has it's own material, except the Default Material. If i apply a material to the Default Material, GTA V crashes.
What should i do? No problems on sending the .z3d . -

Title.
Edited a car on Zmod, added parts, made the materials, but didn't wanted to export it, because the Default Material didn't had a shader. So i assigned one, and exported it. Added textures on OpenIV, doesn't crash there, but crashes when i load my game.
Wat i do? How do i export it without having to deal with Zmodeler's Default Material ?I think that's the problem.
And yes, every material is assigned. EVERYONE , except the default one.
Have no problem to pass the files if you want to check the problem -

DON'T install cars that have .yft file OVER 10Mb.
You know that details ≠ high poly ?
Stop downloading mods that are converted from 3d model sites ( Humster3d, Turbosquid , etc ) since they use more than 450k polygons.
To make it clear, a vanilla GTA V car has 60k polygons. Buildings have maximium 5k polys. That means that your EXXTRA HD 4K EBIN CAR with almost half of a million polygons weights the same as all the Sedan car class, or 3 times the weight of a normal mod.
Please, don't download that kind of mods. You can get the same quality, using less polys and more textures,even on GTA 5.
