I've seen eshenk post more than once, it seems he's only interested by realistic californian real life serious mature mod , and consider all other mod as useless and for kid or even as shit and don't hesitate to vote a 0.5 star for each mod that are not realistic one, real life texture one, californian themed one and make useless post about the fact he hate that mod even if he don't test them
( and again i don't talk about xenophobe post after each attentat to promote your hate on stranger or your usefull " hum whut ?" answer for people that are not good in english xD)

Please, for the multiple time it happen, just ignore and don't judge mod that you don't like, don't use, or don't even test and also stop to consider that your opinion is common to everyone
If you really need to talk to someone, consider getting more friend, or contact a social worker, or a psychologue as a good alternative

The first suggestion is about the request area
I think you should add under category like Map request / Vehicle request / Scripts request / Tools etc
Instead of putting a tag on topic name, It would be much more clear and will avoid to scripter for exemple to search the script request in all request like vehicle or map or whatever.

(Well in fact I think some other area need undercategory cause some part of the forum are flooded pretty fast xP)

The second suggestion is about the chat type box, hum we can't size it ? Sometime the scroll is between two line and make it hard to read what we write (to correct or etc)

the best thing that could happen would be an official modding tool made with Rockstar and OpenIV team.
We need a creationkit like skyrim have, would be so fucking great

for map editor, place map ( they are in xml format) into the main gta folder, once ig open map editor menu ( f7) and load map by writing his name

for menyoo place the map into" spooner " folder that is inside menyoostuff folder ( in your gta directory) and open Menyoo Ig (F8 ) to load it via spooner category

for ymap map you need to instal the addon folder ( read their description to know how to instal them

About their placement, this is mostly show in description or image, or you can teleport to it selecting an entity of the map

we're modder not game developper, we all work for free and aren't proffesional, all what we do is during our free time.
Also more you wait more you've stuff. The version tg got was a really old build just to give a little overview on how the mod will be. Today the mod have evolved a lot, cause time allow to add thing hope you can understand that.

Well,
the idea is about to allow people to download mods and let them go away from website, but once they come back on website, a window would appear, presenting the different mods that user downloaded like a list or idk, and ask people if they liked it.
It could encourage people to Like mod insteed of just downloading them and would reward a bit more the modder work in some way.

It could also be done with a rating system but since some people rate unfairly mod I don't think it would be a good idea.

Nexus mod is my other favorite modding website, I think rappo took the good decision choosing people from nexus.
It will be probably a bit different now, but I'm pretty sure you will do thing well

What I think ? it's simple : Take Two is killing rockstar > : (

Personatly I always loved the gta from the One to IV but GtaV is one of the " rockstar " game that deceiv me the most cause focused on a shity closed Online

I'm pretty sure the solo (and online too) have been fucked by Take Two interest into money and forced rockstar to focus on a shity Online aimed to make people buy take two card ... hu I mean Shark card ( well for some it can be a " good " online, but for me an old SA:MP player Gta Online is like a shit )
feeded with shity useless " Update " of car , car , car , car , car, million dollars garage and appart , car car , car and car and sometime a bit of gameplay, then car and car and car and car and car and car and so on ...

I bought the game expecting some Solo DLC like GtaIV got , THEY announced one in 2014, and now I'm still waiting something that will probably never been release for Solo while it was One of my main reason to buy gta, a long story and complete solo game.

Fortunatly modder where present and make of this unfinished game a more complete and funny Game,
however Take Two and Rockstar didn't do the effort to build them a SDK like bethesda did with Skyrim ( Creation Kit is the reason why Skyrim is still played today after all this year ...),
and with these Mod I've been able to play till today without being annoyed ( except by shity " update " of car and car and etc that broke scripthook )

But as People are working for free to make their game BETTER , and that it make the Online less played they fuck modder project ... pretty logic for money shark that are Take Two but really desapointing for the player fan of rockstar

I now understand why leslie was in disagree with them ...

Honestly not sure I'll buy the next rockstar game just cause of take two mentality ...

I'm really sad for your project, it was something that will have probably make a lot of people buy gta for pc and give us a lot of happyness to see it ported to PC so in some way benefit for rockstar but take two is only thinking on short term and will finish to kill rockstar by making their fan more and more desapointed

i've some jungle and deserts maps projects in preparation
I just learned to do object but never did any skin or vehicle yet and don't really get time to learn ,

i always wanted to see some aligator/crocodile/Spider/Scorpio or Snake animal in GTA mod as many people I guess,
it would be pretty fun and damn cool if someone could do (even lowquality) model of these Animal.

I know it must not be ez to do animal but it something that miss a lot in gta , some freaky animal other than badcat and sharks that could add a good wild gameplay

Well, when the forum was just released I already suggested to split the requests topic by category in order to make it clear and more efficient.

And it's not a bad criticism, I understand that it take some time to create category, but today this area look like a Bin : S

Lot of request are unanswered, i also guess it come from the fact that modder don't look it for the simple reason that they've to waste X min to find a mod request that concern their kind of modding.
And yeah i knoww there is the tag to help out, but it s not really usfull to find them easyer. More again when people don't know they've to put it .

So today we've 79 request page that will obviously for most of them never be done not only for the reason it can't be done, or that it's not interesting, but cause they'll never be seen, just cause modder offer enough of their time to people and that they've other thing to do than checking all page to get the request that concern them ..

While if some undercategory have been done, request will not go as fast to the next page
, some day there is a lot of request and they just go away really fast cause of new one leading the older to never be seen by concerned modder, so never done or even answered while some idea are good and would make good mod.

And no, the tag isn't as usefull, more again when people dont put it

I mean, imagine the bullshit it will be if we were voting (irl ) in public, first it could lead weak minded people to not assum what they think cause of the group effect, then it could also lead to big trouble between people that don't think the same thing, like revenge or even worst

I can understand your opinion, it can be used for abusiv purpose ( hater, troller, etc ), may it need improvment to avoid abuser, but make the downvote private is the better thing to do for the freedom of mind.

@wlupoli as i said, i'm busy with terrain and road system right now. But if you're ready to learn how to do props then I can help you on that ( it's not really hard, just require like 2 or 3 day to handle the convertion and other thing )
