So, with the update before this one i hadn't played for a while then decided to play. i updated to the then latest version of Script Hook V but the game wouldn't load. I deleted the script hook v files and replaced them with the correct system32 files and the game loaded fine but without any of my mods working obviously. People were saying it's because script hook v needed to be updated so I downloaded the latest version today and installed it and once again it is getting stuck on the "Loading Story Mode" screen. i am on the steam version, and I also tried uninstalling GTAV and reinstalling it and it didn't fix anything. WTF is going on, and for the love of god can someone actually try to help me out?

I'm having the same issue. I haven't played the game for a while. I updated the game via Steam, then updated Script Hook V. I used OIV to replace the old dinput8 file and scripthookV files. I loaded into the game and it just sits on loading story mode. I had to replace the dinput8 file with one from my system32 file in order for the game to load, but then since i replaced that dinput8 file now none of my mods will load and my trainer won't load. I thought maybe I did something wrong so this this time I deleted the dinput8 and scripthookv dlls from my game folder via OIV then once again added the updated scripthookv files to the folder and once again it gets stuck on loading story mode.

@JohnFromGWN I'm currently running a beta version of Windows 11 version 21H2 build 22000.194, the latest beta version (maybe that's why it's not working) my .net framework is 4.8 or higher, I tried installing 4.8 just incase and it says I already have it or a newer version installed. I'll try reinstalling simpletrainer and see what happens. Now when I reinstall it should I delete the old TrainerV.asi and trainerv.ini files, or just replace them with the new ones? Also i should mention becuase I just remembered that also while in game if I pressed F4 it would come up with scripthook menu but now it doesn't do that.

@Jitnaught here is what the asiloader log says, it looks like scripthookv and simple trainer isn't loading what would you recommend?

@Jitnaught I did update simple trainer to the latest version. I also noticed that all my DLCPack cars that I added are now gone from the directory. I'm going to check those logs and get back to you.

Last week i finally decided to play GTAV single player again after not playing for almost 6 months. After allowing the game to update, then updating ScriptHookV along with the update.rpf file and updating my trainer I went into the game just to find out that the trainer doesn't work, I can't pull up the trainer menu. Also options like pressing 0 to cancel wanted stars doesn't work. Also when I start my saved game the car that I was in at the time disappears. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

I'm having this issue but when I go into the games files there actually is no scripts folder so the error is 100% correct, there is no script folder for it to load. I have no idea what happened since I just played it last week and it was working fine, now suddenly my scripts folder is gone. Does anyone know what I can do?

@haws1290 how often does this happen. I've been playing this game for about 9 months now and this is the first time it's happened to me.
