The sooner I get involved with this, the sooner I can produce my own mods for the community rather than suggesting it to someone else.

Perhaps there'd be a correlation with the age of the vehicle and level of damage? Older models being more likely to have damage than a new model, because it's spent more time on the streets?

And the model type? For instance, those with a sports car tend to care for it significantly more than those with a minivan/"average" car. That being said, perhaps minivans are more likely to have damage in-game than a sports car? (Regardless of age - if it's a classic or recent model)

There could also be

Get up off your chair. Walk to the nearest window, or better yet, step outside. Look around you. Is every vehicle within sight brand new, with no scratches or dents? Unless you live in a posh neighborhood, probably not.

Why not create a mod that produces beaters? It could be built off of existing models (perhaps?).. Simply having the vehicles spawn slightly damaged. A dent here, a dent there.. Now and then a car that looks absolutely totaled. It'd be difficult to ensure it'd be well balanced... but it would be well worth it. Could have different levels of damage have different chances of spawning based on geographical location.

Ie: In the hood, the likelihood of seeing a damaged car may be at 75%, with the likelihood of seeing a fresh n clean supercar being 2%. (1-2 supercars riding around the whole hood at a time)

In downtown, the likelihood of seeing a damaged car may be 20%, with the likelihood of seeing a fresh n clean supercar being 10%.

Beach by the Amusement Park, 50%, with the likelihood of seeing a supercar being 35%. (Beaches attract every walk of life, from every region of the city).

You get the idea. It'd be neat!

Hello everyone, Aidan here.

New to modding GTA 5. Had installed a few vehicles in the past, but uninstalled so I could go back onto GTA Online.

Well, I've found myself back on Story mode far more often than GTA Online again, and figured I'd really leap into modding this time around. I plan on doing much, much more than a simple vehicle or two, and hope to learn to create my own mods to post in the future.

I am looking for suggestions. Some things I would particularly like include, but are DEFINITELY not limited to (keep in mind I'm new to this, so I don't know what I don't know. Could be many things that I would absolutely love that I don't even know exist yet).

-Better LSPD behavior and models. RDE appears to be broken based on the comments. https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/realism-dispatch-enhanced#comments_tab

-A vehicle pack that replaces (or adds on, to be honest) 50%+ civilian vehicles with Real Life vehicles (Lexus, Ferarri, etc).

-A Photo-Realistic Graphics mod. I was thinking Project Realism by Your Father. https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/yourfather-s-enb-reshade

-Perhaps better physics? I hate how grippy the cars in GTA are, and the fact that if you countersteer during a drift you instantly straighten out, rather than hold the drift. I would love to be able to drift on this game, but only with vehicles that would drift in the real world. Aka, I don't like slidey cars. I essentially just want real-world physics, with a couple cars powerful enough to maintain wheelspin through a turn, at speed.

That's all I have at the moment. Eventually I'll add things such as clothing and weapons, but those 4 things would increase the playing experience by a THOUSANDFOLD.

Any suggestions on where to start? Need to learn how to install mods. Looked at tutorials on here, but they're not very beginner-friendly. I know nothing (yet )

If anyone could direct me to functioning car packs though I would bestow upon them the sacred blessings of a thousand pharaohs. Thanks in advance.

Hey there! Fellow rationally minded individual against Donald Trump here. Ran into a problem regarding vehicle spawns.

Very new to modding. Only reason I purchased the PC version, to be honest. Anyway, a couple weeks ago I figured I'd take that first leap into the modding world. Downloaded Menyoo off a YouTube video, all has been great. I've been able to spawn the vehicles I want with ease, modify their hp + torque, teleport, etc. Absolutely fantastic mod menu for someone who has no experience with them whatsoever.

However; this is not my endgame. I wish to spawn real life vehicles, and eventually alter the game itself (physics, graphics, map altercations, etc).

I downloaded ubludock's vehicle pack (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/ubludock-vehicles-pack-add-on#description_tab). Then I downloaded Open IV. From there, I followed the directions on ubludock's Read Me.

Opened up GTA and opened up Menyoo menu (Shit, is Menyoo supposed to sound like Menu?) and went to vehicle spawner. Then down to custom input... typed in ubludock's vehicle codes AND..... no luck. Invalid entry.

Anyone have a "Modding for dummies" guide? One that explicitly states all steps from the begginning, and assumes no prior modding knowledge?

Damn near willing to pay someone to hop on Team Viewer and show me how it's done.
