I have the same problem too and tried using an old dinput8.dll with no success, unfortunately. I'll keep an eye out if anything else works for me.

RE: Yes, the 31 March 2020 Game 1868.1 Update Will Crash Your Game ...
Reverting back to old .exe's seems to work. At least, ones that date back to 11/25/2018 lol.

RE: [Consolidation Thread] New update 09.19.2019 broke ScripthookV
@Chief-wiggums should be in the steam repository when you download the older .exe's.

RE: [Consolidation Thread] New update 09.19.2019 broke ScripthookV
@Chief-wiggums I have back ups. But i've tried the the above mentioned method for getting old .exe's and it works. You just need to make sure you download the appropriate update.rpf or it will crash.
UPDATE
Okay weird...just started working again out of the blue. Only thing I can think of that I did differently was install the latest version of SHV (previously had an old one). Except when I tested it yesterday it crashed. But this morning it worked again. I honestly don't even know what to think anymore...

RE: [Consolidation Thread] New update 09.19.2019 broke ScripthookV
@master3596 I didn't need to bypass the launcher. When i started it up it went through the rockstar games launcher and then through steam.
However...
Looks like now i'm in the same boat as everyone else. Just tried to play again and it crashed as I was trying to load into SP. The Rockstar Games Launcher logs say it's the 0xc0000005 (3221225477) error code. So it falls in line with the same problem that @PracticallyGeek has/had. Nothing to suggest it's the older version's of the .exe's or ScirpthookV. Has to be the Rockstar Games Launcher because nothing changed from when I ran the game perfectly fine earlier to now. It must have downloaded or changed something as I was exiting because I can't for the life of me think of anything else. I doubt it has to with GPU drivers or Windows. Tried uninstalling the games launcher and reinstalling (btw it automatically updates to yesterdays build so no downgrading unfortunately). Even tried overwriting my old .exe's and update folder again. No dice. Looks like we just have to hope Rockstar see's the influx of trouble tickets and does something to patch it. I'm gonna try some other methods to try and get it to work again, but i'm afraid I may just have to wait and see if it get's patched again.

RE: [Consolidation Thread] New update 09.19.2019 broke ScripthookV
Sorry guys, in a perfect world I would. But 1. Against the rules and 2. Kinda considered pirating. Again sorry. But you should be able to download an older version of scripthook. Community Scripthook V .Net looks like it has a file back from September 2018.
Also update:
After playing heavily with mods (Old version of Menyoo, Skin Control, a bunch of animation and action scripts, lots of skin swaps and playing with Reshade) for about 3 hours I haven't run into a single issue of crashing. Can also confirm no issues in Rockstar Editor too. So if you can find a older .exe and launcher out there somewhere, you should be good to go.

RE: [Consolidation Thread] New update 09.19.2019 broke ScripthookV
I have my GTA V reverted back to 1.0.1493.1 and I've had no issues. Had on for about an hour with no crashes, but will try to see if I run into any crashing issues for any extended playing.

RE: Next update: The Diamond Casino & Resort
@TrustNo1 Was like 2.8 GB yesterday when it downloaded. And then there was one today that was 1.3 GB.

RE: Next update: The Diamond Casino & Resort
@TheMurderousCricket I have a backup of my update, .exe and launcher files so I'm good to go. Everything works like usual.

RE: Next update: The Diamond Casino & Resort
@TheMurderousCricket Okay so I guess it was a fluke. Now steam is making me download a 2.8GB update. Well...too good to be true I guess.
