Hey guys, I really want to figure out this glass and windshield thing with the vehicles. I know it has something to do with the deformation, but is there a way to make it so that the glass on the cars doesn't break as easily? I actually want to make it so that the windshield never breaks, more like in GTA IV. I don't think its realistic that when I have a tiny fender bender that my windshield explodes. So anyone with experience in this, please help me. I will do the work, I just need to know where else to look. I can't seem to find this in the handling files which is where the deformation is located. Please help.

Yes, but I just installed the game and it was the first annoying thing I noticed right out of the box. I then installed a realistic handling mod in hopes it would fix this, but it didn't change anything. I am using a keyboard and each time I hit the breaks it always screeches just for a second with a quick chirp and then slows down. Kind of like if it has ABS and it initially tries to lock up the breaks, but then activates ABS. Haven't you seen this before? Just try to drive normally around 35 to 50 mph and stop at lights. Chirp, then it slows down. Annoying.

Does anyone know where the glass settings are to make them bulletproof? I have an idea and want to try to see if I adjust this setting would that make the windows more durable so that they don't always break so easily.

Please guide me to where this setting is in the files. Thank you.

Has anyone else noticed this before? Any ideas?

One thing that has really become annoying is the tiny tire screech sound that automatically comes in every time I apply breaks whether driving fast, slow, crazy, normal, it doesn't matter. Once I initially apply the breaks, quick SCREECH, then the car slows down. Is there any way that I can remove this tire screech sound from breaking? I looked into the breaks, ABS, and traction and that didn't seem to do it, but I may have missed it. Any help please?

Hey guys, is anyone else kind of tired of the windshield always breaking upon even the smallest crashes, especially if you have increased your deformation? Where is this so that I can edit all cars to not have breaking windshields anymore? I know its in there somewhere, so what is it connected to and where is it and has someone already made this mod? I have a handling editor and am pretty handy with that, I just need to be pointed in the right direction. Thank you.
