Hi there,
I have a request that I really wish to see fulfulled. I love the modding community. So many flawlessly executed combat vehicles available for free here. Just one thing's lacking imo. No one has made a functional machine gun/minigun/flak as an autonomous entity yet.
I hope you get my point, please give us an independent big gun. The rockstar flak trailer is far too big and doesn't fit into a warzone combat scenario imo.
A smaller, deadly alternative would be insanely cool.
A working mg on the small default utility trailer, that can be used in-game, for example. Would that be time-consuming?

Yeah so did I, unfortunately it causes the same issue.
I just tested singleplayeryacht and singleplayer benny's, these cause the exact same issues.
Everything related with importing online map stuff, apparently.
Since normal add-on mods don't cause issues.

Is "Faster AI drivers" still working?

I tried these two and the AI is still braking at 70mph/120kph on a straight line, very disappointing.
Are there alternatives to make NPC racers an actual challenge?
I'm looking for a mod or file tweak that actually makes peds go at the top speed of the car they're operating. -

Hi again, lowering my graphics settings didn't help, sadly.
The missing map parts are only at two locations and affect like 20% of the map.
The empty chunks are always the same and for some reason, only mods that aim to insert online features trigger it.
Deleting them instantly resolves the issue.
My pc says I only use 1/4 of the memory available, are you sure it is a memory issue?

Ok i found two "fasterai" mods on here. You only need to exchange a single file.

However, if it still gives me the zlib crash after removing all other (not-prerequisite) mods, what would I need to do then?
Regular map mods work fine, but every mod related to adding online map stuff removes chunks of my map (most notable at the beach for some reason), but won't give me the zlib crash message.

"Open all Interiors" crashes the game
Hi.
I've installed OpenAllInteriors and it works fine, but certain objects and buildings fail to load, which makes the game crash at some locations.
It's always the "failed to call zlib" error message.
Removing the OAI files fixes that.
What would be a possible fix? -
How to create own add-on vehicle/ files required?
Hi. I'm relatively new to modding and have been wondering, if I have a working 3d model (yft) of a tuning part, or a vehicle, what files do I need to edit or add, and where, to make them show up and function within the game?
Having a hard time finding conclusive tutorials on this.

NPC/ped top speed in vehicles?

I have "tested" a bit by placing peds in cars with altered torque and top speed settings and chasing them around, or making them chase me. When flooring it as the player, the cars can go up to 300+ mph, but the npcs apparently cannot ever go faster than 80-90 mph.
That's always their stop speed in cars.
Why is that, and how would you have to modify the npc files to enable them driving faster?
