The new scripthookV update is working fine. Same thing was happening to me. I noticed in my mods folder under update>x64>dlcpacks only went to patchday 19ng. There is now a patchday 20ng which has to be copied over to the mods>update>x64>dlcpacks folder. The problem might be your copied update folder located in the mods folder. I didn't want to stress over other stuff I may have missed in the update so I deleted the mods folder and started over. I know this might suck if you have lotsa mods. OpenIV makes you update it anyways. The game is now working with all mods and updates. Hope this helps.

The new update is working fine!
When I first installed the updated ScripthookV Version 1.0.1604.0, the game was crashing for me when the loading screens were done. Just like some of you are mentioning. I noticed in my mods folder it only went to patchday 19ng. There is now a patchday 20ng. The problem is most likely your copied update folder located in the mods folder.

I deleted the mods folder and started over in OpenIV. The game loads and plays now. I know this may be a pain for some of you cause of all the mods you've entered, but you might have to do the same thing. Hope this helps a few people cause it was bugging the crap outa me. Of course I blamed the updated patch first. 99% of computer error is human error.

@xInno3Dx Armin's really good but Oakenfold is the Master and Godfather of Trance. You all need to listen to Tranceport, and then his best in my opinion, Global Underground 007: Live in New York. There's a reason GU made him 007. Off topic sorry I know.

@ArmaniAdnr Guess It could be my files. I have a good, clean backup that I use to re-install with. I tried installing the modded gameconfig.xml file before any other mods and the game crashes. I now have VisualV, ENBSeries, TrueVision, six modded cars with NO gameconfig.xml file installed and the game works. I just bought the game on June 21st, 2018 and recently started modding a month ago. Not sure why it's backwards with me.

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue...
Most tutorials tell you to download the modded gameconfig.xml so you can add a lot of cars. I have tried many different gameconfig.xml files from this site. The game eventually crashes every time. So, I tried playing with my original gameconfig.xml file and now everything works great! I have 5 added-on cars so far and no crashing. Does the modded gameconfig.xml file work for anyone else right now? Maybe they changed something in the last update so you don't have to replace the gameconfig.xml file? I know many people are having issues with modding right now. I don't even try using Vanillaworks anymore, crashes every time.
