The exact same thing happened in the The Long Stretch missions. The moment I tried to enter a getaway car the game crash.
Temperately solution this time was to remove I'm Not MentaL's Persistence Mod, then I had no problem finish the mission.

Ok after more hours of testing I have come to to a kind of working solution, its not perfect but its working and is ok.
It all came down to tweaking this 3 settings like many mods already have done:
fInitialDragCoeff, fInitialDriveForce and InitialDriveMaxFlatVel.Hauler: fInitialDragCoeff 10, fInitialDriveForce 0.18, InitialDriveMaxFlatVel 110
Phantom: fInitialDragCoeff 10, fInitialDriveForce 0.20, InitialDriveMaxFlatVel 105
Packer: fInitialDragCoeff 7, fInitialDriveForce 0.27, InitialDriveMaxFlatVel 122Now they all perform better than before and hauler is weakest, Phantom in the middle and Packer is the best, and this is a better match in price for them in the mod I use

How to improve semi truck speed and acceleration when pulling a trailer?
Hi guys
Im having a mod that add many trucking missions, but the semi trucks in this game is not so fun to drive with a trailer.
Im not interested in realistic speed and performance, I'm would love to get higher speed, better acceleration and momentum going uphill.I have spent some time reading up on settings in handling.meta, and I have used 5-6 hours playing around with the settings, but I have not achieved anything significant.
So I hope some of you can share some of your experience and thoughts on what settings that can improve performance for semi trucks with trailer.Some settings I have been testing:
fInitialDragCoeff
fInitialDriveForce
fClutchChangeRateScaleUpShift
fClutchChangeRateScaleDownShift
InitialDriveMaxFlatVel
fTractionCurveMax
fTractionCurveMin
fTractionSpringDeltaMax
fLowSpeedTractionLossMult
fTractionLossMultI guess there is some combination of settings I have not discovered yet.

Thanks for replying IreBurn. That actually worked, after I did I played for 4-5 hours without any problems.
But Im afraid something like this will happen again later, and I had one crash trying to enter a car again.

I Need your help to make my game work
Hi guys
For some reason my game crash over and over again in the repossession mission where Lamar and Franklin get shot at, it crashes when I get to car after shootout to follow the motorbike. It crashed earlier in the shootout also. Before this happened I played 3-4 hours with more than 70 mods. No problems in prologue and Franklin and Lamar mission.
I thought this was because of mods so I removed all mods, and mods folder. But still game crashes at exactly the same place.
I have deleted cfg.dat and pc_settings.bin, I have tried things like changing settings, remove all game overlays and many other things, but nothing seem to work.Things I wonder about:
Can it be a problem to play with older game version? Due to modding my game version is 1.0.1365.1 from 2018. I use a launcher to avoid updates to avoid breaking my mods.
I think its strange that game crashed same place after working great up to that point. What can be the reason for this?
I have legal game but I read that pirated games crash in missions, can it be that my older version game gets categorized as pirated?Please share if you think you have some suggestions that can help

What about using an earlier version of OPENIV?
As i remember, i did not have any crashes back in 2018 that I noticed. -

I wait for the update, if that dont help, I guess I do a backup on my computer and try to fix net framework.
Then if thats not working, I try to remove all mods to narrow the issue down. -

Hi and thanks for reply. I have been looking at logs from mods but Im not sure what to look for.
What I tried to do was to look for files that was changed around time of crash, but Im not sure that is smart or not, anyway this is what I found out:
ScriptHookV.log and ScriptHookVDotNet2.log looks ok, nothing happening around crash time.Only logs that was active around time of crash was:

but this seem to be a often repeating error that Im not sure have any effect on anything.After trying again it crashed after a few minutes. This time only OpenIV.log had anything around crash time, but it look ok.

Need help with random crash

My game keep crashing at what seem to me to be random. It can be 5 min or 1 hour.
Im running and older version of the game with GTAValuncherbypass, and Im using around 60 mods that is all chosen carefully for stability and solo story mode.From event viewer:

I can confirm hat those settings had effect on ripples from raindrops, but since my game is modded, there was other settings in the same file that also had effect:
puddles.ripples.windstrength
puddles.ripples.ripplestrength
puddles.ripples.winddamping
puddles.ripples.playerspeedI have no idea what setting that is most important, but all this settings together had a big effect.
