@PermissionToLand Care to tell what car(s) are you trying to use? I can try to download & install them, see if they work on my end.

I used the modding guide I found on this site, installed a couple of plugins, scripts lore friendly cars and even some tanks and planes, all of them work in my game. I'd get occasional crashes from time to time, but that only happens when I abuse menyoo functions excessively. (For example, manually set myself a full wanted level, blow the hell out of those five-o's and then delete everything using clear area function.)

First off, name the pack you installed, and the EXACT error message or situation you ran into, that's how you get some actual help.

Of course mods still work for GTA V, modders won't keep pumping out new stuff otherwise. You're just missing some steps... these things may not be the most important, but they MIGHT make your life easier.

Having only OpenIV and Script Hook V is not enough, you need those items I mentioned or the game will sometimes refuse to load, maybe even some more if your game is heavily modded. I only play with menyoo, Benny's Original Motor Works for single player mode, some car mods, some pedestrain models and a few simple, car related scripts. And even with so few mods I have, I still got those things installed, never had any issue with my game.

Also, to be safe, make sure you place modified stuff inside and ONLY inside "mods" folder.
