Thank you. I actually did manage to fix the problem. It turned out my gpu drivers were outdated and updating them fixed the issue. My ASI manager works now, though I wish I'd known that it was that easy earlier. Though now if I run into any errors now I have a backup to fall on. Thanks for the help!

Alright I tried to uninstall and reinstall using the program you suggested as well and this error came up instead of just closing like usual it came up with this errorCreateDevice: Unable to Create Direct3D9 Device (Device type "D3DDEVTYPE_ERROR", HWND: "00508AE", VP: "00000024" Width: "640", Height: "550") due to D3DERR_NOTAVAILABE

Hi, I'm fairly certain I'm using an official version. The website I got it from was just OpenIV.com, and I've tried to uninstall it and reinstall it multiple times but never with the program you suggested. I'll give it a try and then see about the permissions. It would still be helpful if you could upload your openvi.asi though. Thank you. -

Would you happen to know where I can get OpenVI.asi on it's own? I tried to just copy it from OpenIV's installation folder but it didn't work with my game. I feel like I might be close to actually getting rid of this issue now.

I tried what you said and put dinput8.dll as well as scripthook into my game's installation folder and yet it still didn't work. I think that getting OpenVI.asi separately might be the only way to do it, because my OpenIV can still open rpf files and the sort. It just can't open the asi manager.

I have actually tried both versions, an offline install version and the one from OpenIV itself and both have had the exact same issue. I've also made sure that the exe is not on Read only mode in the properties, yet the problem persists. I've opened a bug report on OpenIV's own bug reporting site and I hope to solve it there, but if they can't help me I'm not sure what I can do. I appreciate your response and suggestions though. -
Open IV stops responding as soon as I try to open the ASI manager.
Hello. Recently I've been trying to get back into modding my GTA. But I've run into an issue with my Open IV. The program crashes as soon as I try to open the ASI manager. Since it does this I can't install the OpenIV.asi and mod my game without risking the integrity of my game's files. I've made a short video showcasing the issue. I haven't found anything about this issue online so any help here would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

OpenIV crashing when I push browse for files
Hi, so when I push browse when I'm trying to find the GTA V folder my OpenIV crashes immediately with an error screen that's just the usual "OpenIV has stopped working". I've tried to reinstall it and everything but it still doesn't work. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? I would very much like to know.
