I once found a fix for it in the PRSA enb comments either by another visualsettings.dat or a file from the ENB don't remember which one tho (idk if you use enb?)
@Experr I know how to create that bug maybe it's the same thing.
With a persistence script it happens whenever it trys to load a non existing or faulty vehicle depends on the case figured that out when i deletet a car from my pack and forgot to delete it from the persistence script.
If that's not it try showing a list of your scripts.
@Adam-Cork just add that in vehicles.meta to the flags:
That effect happens on fuel scripts when your fuel is to low last time I played with them otherwise your car might get random damage from a script maybe? I also got that issue on the persistence script when fuel in the file is to low hope that helps
